Christmas Party Sparkles for Claire House

Wirral-based Claire House Hospice held their annual Christmas Wine & Canapes party at Thornton Manor – with support being provided by St Asaph-based Tweedmill Shopping Outlet.

Over 250 people attended the event and £16,000 was raised for Claire House. Guests included comedian Stan Boardman, Radio City presenter Pete Price and Stoke City footballer Jonathan Walters.

For the second year running, Tweedmill supported the event by providing all catering and beverages.

Lisa Johns, Director at Tweedmill said: “The Tweedmill team are delighted to support Claire House and hope that all guests on the evening had a wonderful time. The work of Claire House is invaluable to all of the families it cares for and we are so pleased that the event raised so much money.”

Wendie Darlington MBE, Director of Fundraising at Claire House said: “On behalf of Claire House, we would like to thank Tweedmill Shopping Outlet for their support, which enables us to host this popular annual event and raise money for the hospice. Claire House wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for the generous donations and support we receive from organisations such as Tweedmill and all donations help us provide the best possible care to the children and young people who need it most.”
